Presentations on the four hundred anniversary of Quirós and Torres
Contents The embassy of Spain offers to all Australian school children, their teachers and their parents (and grannies) interactive audiovisual presentations on Quirós and Torres in particular and on Spain and Spanish sailors in general.
It will also be an opportunity to learn many things about Spain and its culture, to see how an embassy works and to taste Spanish gastronomic delicacies.
Program: Embassy tour (if done at the Embassy); Power point about Spain and other Spanish sailors; DVD about Quirós and Torres; Reading of texts; Comprehension questions and answers; Drawing and writing impressions; Gifts for the children who participate; Display of books; Family photo; Show bag for attendants; Presentation for the school.
Place: Chancery of the embassy of Spain, 15 Arkana Street, Yarralumla, Canberra, or at ACT schools.
Time: 45 or 60 minutes, according to age
